The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) training programme bringing together four institutions, was officially inaugurated at RIAT in a ceremony graced by Mr. Stanley Maindi, the Director RPL Delivery Unit.
The training is aimed at ensuring that all trainers across TVET institutions are adequately prepared to recognize, assess and certify individuals whole possess skills and competencies in the various fields but lack the certifications as certified as RPL Practitioners.
The director officially marked the commencement of the training by planting trees which is a symbolic TVET greening activity to celebrate environmental stewardshipand the anticipated growth and sustainability of the RPL initiative within the participating institutions.
