Tree Planting

As part of the ongoing TVET Greening Initiative, today we successfully planted over 3,000 tree seedlings generously donated by the Mpesa Foundation. The exercise brought together staff, students and stakeholders in a shared commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.The initiative aims to promote a greener, healthier and more climate-resilient region by encouraging tree planting and environmental responsibility within learning institutions and surrounding communities. Through partnerships such as this, the institution continues to play an active role in building a sustainable future for generations to come.

PS-SDTVET Dr.Muoria Champions Skills Recognition at the RPL Training

The Principal Secretary- State Department of Technical, Vocational Education and Training(PS-SDTVET)Dr. Esther Muoria, joined the RPL Practioners during the closing ceremony of the training. In her speech, Dr. Muoria reaffirmed the Government's efforts and commitment in ensuring that all it's country men and women are skilled and recognised to align with the global market standards.The PS-SDTVET emphasised that the State Department is keen in their efforts of successfully rolling out the RPL Programme seamlessly across all TVET Institutions immediately after the training exercise is completed.The trained practitioners were urged to be the ambassadors of the Programme by ensuring they are able to scout and enroll the young people with the skills.
