Today the 25th April 2024, a team from Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute (FFRC), Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute (PRFRI) and Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute (YSFRI) of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences (CAFS) visited RIAT. The delegation was led by the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Prof. Lin Xiangming accompanied by Prof. Liu Yongxin (CAFS), Prof. Rong Xiaojun (YSFRI-CAFS), Prof. Xu Sheng (FFRC-CAFS), Prof. Xie Jun (PRFRI-CAFS) and Prof, Jing Xiaojun (FFRC). In the team were also Directors from Yiruo Fish Farm Kenya Limited which is operating fish cage farms in Homa Bay County, Kenya. The objective of the visit was to understand the aquaculture and fisheries research and development activities at RIAT and to discuss potential areas of cooperation and explore opportunities for knowledge exchange and technical collaboration.
